Treatment

During your initial Jeuveau® cosmetic injectable consultation at Transformative Dermatology your best in class board certified dermatologist will review your full medical history and complete a routine physical exam to determine your eligibility for the non-surgical anti-aging treatment. 

During the Jeuveau® treatment session, the doctor will explain where each injection will go and the expected result and will provide you with a numbing solution if needed. Your best in class cosmetic dermatologist and their team will ensure you are as comfortable as possible. 

The non-surgical cosmetic injectable treatment is quick and pain free with no downtime. Some patients experience mild discomfort after receiving Jeuveau®, but report that it is temporary and minimal.

Results

Patients can expect to see results as soon as 2 days after receiving the cosmetic injectable treatment. The full effects of Jeuveau® may last up to 6 months, though it ultimately depends on the unique anatomy of each patient, along with their post-treatment goals. The amount of Jeuveau® used during the treatment session also depends upon each patients’ unique facial folds / wrinkles and their respective locations. 

Jeuveau® targets wrinkles / folds / creases of the face by injecting a nerve-blocking solution into the muscle of the affected area to prevent communication between the muscle and the brain. This minimizes wrinkles and folds caused by regular facial contractions. Ultimately, wrinkles are a result of loss in skin elasticity – Jueveau® aims to prevent and diminish the physical appearance of facial wrinkles / folds / creases.
